So welcome to the Yodare Blog. The aim of the blog is to give you updates on how the adventure is going along with some great photos and hopefully video footage of sailing around 179 islands! Although I started the adventure in 2018 I was limited to the number of islands I could sail due to a shoulder injury from my Race To Scotland adventure. Consequently only 12 islands were sailed, but that included one of the largest – the Isle of Sheppey – which was over 30 miles all the way round. During the winter I’ve been busy getting the shoulder fixed and getting fit again ready for a big push in 2019. The winter has also been a busy time of planning and getting this great website – www.yodare.co.uk sorted out with the kind help of one of the great team behind Yodare – Denis Brzozowski and the team at Wolfden creative. Now it’s up and running hopefully you will be able to follow the adventure from this blog, the live tracker updates on the website (see Where’s Ken on the tabs of the website) and also from our social media feeds (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram) which you can all access via the logos at the bottom of each page of the website.
